Our History

Mbogo High School was the first to be established among the five Mbogo schools. It was founded in 1995 at rented premises owned by Hajj Lulagala Mawazi. As student enrolment increased, the facilities could no longer support a fully boarding school.

To provide a better learning environment, land was acquired at Kawempe Tula, where the school is currently located. The new campus offers a serene and conducive environment specifically designed to support the education of the girl child.

Growth & Excellence

Over the years, Mbogo High School has expanded into one of the leading secondary schools in Uganda, excelling in both Arts and Sciences. The school is ranked among the top Muslim girls’ schools in the country.

The institution offers both O-Level and A-Level education and is officially registered under the Ministry of Education and Sports with registration number PSS/M/65 and UNEB Centre Number U0630.

The school’s achievements are a result of the dedication and commitment of its teachers, administration, long-serving staff, and support teams. The continued guidance and support from the directors and founders have played a vital role in shaping the school’s success.
